ERIC GOT A JOB!!!!!

It has been some of the best news Eric and I have been fortunate to have. Eric, a few weeks ago, left for California to interview with Avery Dennison with a few other boys from the school. He was chosen out of hundreds of people from all over the country to go to a 3 day interview and it was intense. In the end, though, it paid off. He got an offer just a few days later. When he told me, I couldn't help but think to count my blessings right away. We are so very blessed to have an income now and I feel very blessed to have a husband who works so hard for his family.
Eric is now apart of a two year program with Avery and will be moving every 9 months to a new area. We have no clue where we will start or the other places we will go. All we know are the three states we could possibly live in which are: California, Massachusetts, and............OHIO!!!! EVEN BETTER NEWS! Anyway, we are so excited and like I said before, so blessed.

Halloween

It was my little guys first Halloween and it was my favorite of all Halloweens! It was also a busy day for Eric and I, since we had so many parties to go to. We had a lot of fun with all our friends but our favorite part of the day was definitely when we handed all the candy out to the children with Ethan. He was the cutest little lion ever and I loved showing him to everyone!!!!

Here he is waiting to give kids candy. One of the kids even came inside just to talk to him.

Here is the cutest picture of my little lion!

And here is my little fam! I love my boys!

My little guy is growing up soooo fast!

So it has been a while since my last blog because we have been very busy moving back to Rexburg. We are happy to be here and appreciate any nice weather we can get before the snow storm comes. Eric is working hard in school and even harder finding a job. We are hoping and praying that things will work out for him and our small family so that we can begin a new adventure. But for now, we just have to enjoy the little blessing we see every day in our lives, Ethan. He has gotten so big. The doctor says he is in the 20th percentile but I still think he is a little porker. He makes my day! I love watching him grow and even more, watching him communicate more and more with me and his daddy. So far he just says things like "dadadada" or "bubububub", no "mamama" yet. I know i am his favorite anyways. So I thought I would post a few pics of my little guy for everyone to see how he has grown.

I Heart CHIPOTLE!!!!

So I went to Chipotle today because I crave it everyday. Unfortunately, I cannot eat it everyday so I wait until I have a good excuse and then I indulge myself with the most heavenly food on earth. Speaking of heavenly.... every time I eat Chipotle, I immediately think, "Can I have this in Heaven when I get up there?" I am very serious about this too. That is the level of my infatuation with Chipotle. No words can explain the love I have for that place. No words can explain how much I love that place. I live off of their delicious food. It has become at times my happiness and my one place of total satisfaction at times. Chipotle and I are like a teenage girl and Justin Bieber. I weep every time I enter the doors and smell the fresh food.
You may think I am crazy, but I am not the only one who thinks this way. There are more out there just like me, anticipating the day they arrive to the heavenly gates and find out that Chipotle is the food of choice up there. PERFECTION, it would be. One can only hope. If not, then it just means I have to eat as much Chipotle as possible before I die. You may think I am obsessed, but really, I am just in love.

Should we get Satellite?

Okay, so we just moved into our new apartment and it so far has been a pretty nice deal. The only downside to this apartment was there was no cable or satellite. We are not able to access cable so satellite is the only option. I, being the t.v/movie buff that I am, thought it would be a challenge that I could finally conquer. It has been almost a month and I am dying! I miss a lot of my shows including this:

I have become addicted to this show....it is sad, but true. For some reason the drama of it all, (and the "New Yorker" attitudes) attract me enough to stay up late at night just to watch the show. I am hooked! Unfortunately the internet does not show all of their shows and I am a little sad about it.

Which brings me back to satellite. There are so many shows that I am missing out on and it is making me sad...... but is it worth it? I just don't know. I am alone in an apartment for most of the day and I need something to do whenever I don't have a car. Yes I go on walks and I get out, but that doesn't take up the whole day! I need my "Oprah" and "Ellen" during my naps, and I need my "Office" and "Glee" at night!!!!! Is this just hopeless or should I sacrifice something to get Satellite.

We MOVED!!!!!!

It's official.....we moved to Utah. Now we can say we lived in Utah, just like every other Mormon has. I am so happy to be here. It is beautiful here! I love stepping out of my apartment and seeing the Mountains. We also live very close to family and friends and lots of shopping and good food! We are so happy to be here and we may be here for a long time if Eric decides to go to BYU Law School....we will see. Ethan has been doing good. He loves his new room and we are even working on getting him to sleep in his very own bed and not next to mommy. I have decided that my son is attached to me and as much as I love it, I know it will just get harder the older he gets. Here are a few pics of the new home and of my little guy.

TOP 10 (at least) REASONS WHY I DISLIKE REXBURG

Okay everyone, for those of you who know me really well, know that I am not a big fan of Rexburg. (That is an understatement). Rexburg has become my enemy more than my friend. Every morning I wake up in this town, I realize more and more how much I just am not supposed to be here. The second I stepped foot into this "out in the middle of NOWHERE" place was FIVE years ago. Why am I still here? Well my husband finally got an internship in Utah, and just when I thought everything was working out the way I had wanted it to, Rexburg gets in the way. We cannot find anyone to buy our contract, which means i will be stuck here until we do. So while I am stuck here, i figured I would let my frustrations out on this town. Here are the top 10 reasons (at least) that I hate about REXBURG.

10. There is a policeman on every corner of this town watching your every move and even if you don't move they still watch you. (don't ever be alone in the car with someone of the opposite sex parked somewhere because they will flash a shiny light in your face and pull you out of the car)

9. The city of Rexburg decided to charge you for parking anywhere near campus, which means you now have to buy a parking pass if you have to drop off lunch to your husband.Oh, and Idaho Law says they can pull you over even if you are going 1 over the speed limit (happens to me all the time)

8.I learned my first semester to never be too close to the street while walking because the local teenagers think it is funny to throw whatever they have at you. (my friend had yogurt thrown on him once, I was lucky and just had a water balloon)

7. Because this is a college town, majority of the people are not from here and don't know how to drive in the snow. I fear for my life when winter comes.

6. Just recently, the City of Rexburg decided to pave the roads in gravel instead of asphalt because it was cheaper. Due to this decision, i have a crack in my windshield from another car shooting a piece of gravel at my car. Thanks Rexburg.

5. There is no such thing as a dollar menu at Wendy's in Rexburg because we live out in the middle of nowhere. Everything is more expensive since it cost more to send everything to a town that is in its own bubble.

4. NO TARGET, need I say more.

3. Eric and I are so excited to leave so we can actually enjoy good food. We are tired of eating the usual here: $5 pizza, wendy's,the infamous cheap mexican food, oh and I think we are done with sandwich places because there are now 3 subway's in Rexburg and
5 other sandwich stores in this town....tight.

2. The summer time is what everyone looks forward too because we are stuck indoors for more than half of the year. So there is not really much to do. My sister-in-law says her favorite place to hang out is at Wal-mart, which tends to be the place to hang since half the town is there whenever I go. Looks like it's watching a bunch of movies for me this weekend.

1. Finally, the reason I even started writing down my thoughts for Rexburg. The number one reason why I must leave this place and why I would never suggest anyone to live here.... this

I woke up this morning to find this in my comfort zone. It is April 13 and snowing outside. Tell me....would you want to live here?

Ethan's Blessing

This weekend was amazing! Ethan was blessed by his great daddy! It was a fun weekend with the family and my little sister Katie and her husband came to visit and be apart of the whole thing. We are so grateful for family and for the many blessings we have been given from our families. Eric and I are already so happy to be parent's and to start our son's future out the right way. We love him so much and he is just the cutest little boy that we know!

Eric got an internship with CH Robinson! We are so excited and yes that means one step closer to leaving REXBURG!We are not sure when we are leaving but hopefully soon. He will be working in Lehi, UT as a sales intern. We are both very excited but also nervous.

I am also really excited to be moving next to my sister, Katie!I also cannot wait to eat good food for once! Chipotle here I come! There are so many things that we are gonna do when we get there. We are gonna have a blast there and Eric will be a workin' man while I will be a happy mom with my little guy. I am so excited to have a family and begin our journey in Utah.

He is here!!!!!!!!!

My baby is finally here, and yes I am finally updating my blog! For those of you who don't know, I had my baby February 2 (Groundhogs Day) at 10:47 pm. He was 8lbs 40z's and the cutest child I have ever seen....well that's at least what I think. We named him Ethan Mark Baron, and he already has the cutest personality and loves his mommy. The whole process was a breeze. I ended up having a c-section because he refused to come down through the birth canal. I didn't even have to push! I loved it and I was pretty happy with the drugs they gave me too. I am very lucky also to have had my mom there to help me through it all, Eric was nice too, but having another woman there was very calming. Overall the whole experience was amazing and I am so blessed to be able to have the opportunity to be a mother and raise this child. Wish me luck! Here are some pictures of the whole day!
